Website Terms of Use

Candor & Hope Therapy Inc. Beachwood, Ohio 44122 (216) 245-8488 | connect@candorandhopetherapy.com Primary website: https://candorandhopetherapy.com Effective date: October 8, 2026

Website purpose and scope

Candor & Hope Therapy Inc. provides the public website at https://candorandhopetherapy.com to explain services, share educational resources, and help people contact the practice. These terms concern public website use. They do not replace clinical informed consent, a financial agreement, a telehealth consent, employment terms, or agreements with an outside provider.

These terms apply to other practice-controlled websites only when those sites expressly link to them.

Educational information and clinical care

Website articles, resources, questionnaires, and matching results provide general information. They are not individualized diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or an emergency assessment. Do not delay care or disregard a qualified professional's advice because of website content.

Browsing, completing a questionnaire, requesting information, or submitting an application does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship. Clinical services begin through the practice's acceptance and informed-consent process. An existing client's clinical relationship and rights are not ended or changed by these website terms.

Therapist availability, insurance participation, rates, and service details may change and must be confirmed with the practice. A consultation inquiry is not a confirmed appointment. Services marked coming soon are not currently available. Matching results do not guarantee suitability, acceptance, or outcomes.

Emergencies

The website, email, and public contact tools are not crisis services and are not continuously monitored. Call or text 988 for crisis support in the United States. Call 911 or go to an emergency department for immediate danger or a medical emergency. Existing clients should also follow the emergency instructions in their service agreements.

Privacy and communications

Read our Website Privacy Policy for public-site information handling and our Notice of Privacy Practices for clinical information. Do not submit detailed health information, records, identity documents, or payment credentials through ordinary email or public website tools. Contact us for the approved secure method.

Use of the website is not authorization to disclose protected health information, record a clinical session, or waive privacy rights. We may need to verify identity or legal authority before responding to certain requests. Marketing permission or recording consent, when required, is handled separately.

Fees and clinical agreements

Website rate information is informational and subject to confirmation. Payment obligations, cancellation charges, refunds or credits, and service-specific terms are governed by the applicable disclosed and accepted agreement and law. These website terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or eliminate rights under the No Surprises Act, payer requirements, or other applicable law.

Acceptable use and accounts

Use the website lawfully. Do not impersonate another person, submit information you lack authority to share, harass others, distribute malicious code, interfere with availability, circumvent access controls, or attempt to obtain private records. Authorized accessibility tools and ordinary assistive technology are welcome. Security concerns may be reported through our contact information without including private records or secrets.

If account functions are enabled, protect your credentials and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Do not share a clinician or staff account or attempt to gain elevated permissions. Report suspected compromise promptly. Account restrictions for abuse will be handled subject to applicable law and will not remove clinical records rights or obligations concerning continuity of care.

Content and outside links

Unless otherwise stated, the practice or its licensors own website text, branding, images, and other protected content. You may read and download materials offered for personal, noncommercial use, retaining required attribution. This permission does not authorize selling materials, presenting them as your own, or redistributing protected content beyond permitted use. Rights provided by copyright law, including fair use, remain available.

Links to portals, scheduling, social media, crisis resources, and other services are provided for convenience. Independent services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not guarantee the destination's availability or constitute endorsement of every statement or function there. Contact us if a link appears incorrect or requests unexpected information.

Availability and legal rights

We aim to keep public information accurate and the website usable, but errors, interruptions, or outdated information can occur. Confirm important clinical, scheduling, and financial details directly with the practice. To the extent permitted by law, public educational content is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or fitness for your particular circumstances.

Nothing in these terms waives professional duties, excuses unlawful conduct, excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits patient, consumer, privacy, accessibility, or other nonwaivable rights.

Accessibility and contact

For website assistance, an alternative format, a broken link, or an accessibility concern, call (216) 245-8488 or email connect@candorandhopetherapy.com and ask for website assistance. Describe the page and barrier and your preferred contact method; you need not disclose a diagnosis. The practice's public location is Beachwood, Ohio 44122. Contact us for complete mailing instructions.

Updates and applicable law

We may update these terms and display a new effective date. Updates apply prospectively as allowed by law; they do not retroactively change accepted clinical agreements or take away nonwaivable rights. Ohio law governs to the extent applicable, together with controlling federal law and any other mandatory protections. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
